This may be a blanket statement that I am totally unqualified to make, but I think I’ll do it anyway - it seems to me that the Dutch are far too often overlooked when it comes to the food scene - at least by the majority of people. Amsterdam in particular suffers from this massive oversight. An eclectic city strung together by canals, cobblestones and a diverse culture, it all too often gets caught in the quite literal haze of its worldwide publicity as an adult playground. But I can promise you that this city has so much more to offer than pre-rolled joints and a walk through the Red Light District.

Exploring the cities nooks and crannies, finding little neighborhood markets, walking street festivals and sampling Dutch food along the way. These were the things that really made us fall in love with the Netherlands.
